Andreessen VC Pushes ‘American Dynamism’ Agenda

Last February, I wrote about Katherine Boyle, a venture capitalist pushing extreme anti-government ideas. Boyle, a partner at Andreessen Horowitz, had delivered a speech in which she defined government as an enemy of the family. She supported her thesis by pointing out that Jesus Christ had been executed by the Roman state.

Meanwhile, Boyle proposes something she calls “American Dynamism,” which entails investing in high-tech weapons development for ... the government.

Boyle and her strange tangle of contradictory beliefs are the subject of a profile in today's New York Times. The story by Julia Black quotes me:

‘American Dynamism’ cloaks itself as a moral crusade, but it’s an idolatry of wealth, nationalism and weaponry,” said Gil Duran, a journalist and the author of a forthcoming book, “The Nerd Reich: Silicon Valley Fascism and the War on Democracy.” He compared Ms. Boyle’s movement to “a Silicon Valley pitch-deck version of Christian nationalism.”
