'Crypto's destiny'
As promised, here's my latest story in the New Republic.
It's about Brian Armstrong, the CEO of Coinbase, the nation's biggest crypto exchange. He's got a net worth estimated at over $8 billion – and some disturbing ideas about the future.
He openly embraces the Network State cult ideology and says tech bros need "backup options" for "refuge" outside of the United States. His main influence: Balaji Srinivasan, the guy who wants to purge Democrats from San Francisco.
Balaji is also the former chief technology officer of Coinbase.
